In 2021, one of Trufi Association’s big achievements was our project in Mauritania. We created a the first accurate digitized map of the capital, Nouakchott.
There is a talented team with depth of skill and knowledge behind our open source journey planner apps. The project, funded by the World Bank, allowed us a chance to show off this talent. And we did.
Trufi team members presented “How To Map a City’s Public Transport During a Pandemic” to multiple audiences, including at several major events in the Mapping, and International Development sectors, including State of the Map 2021, ITS World Congress, Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Summit 2021, and State of the Map Africa 2021.
This video was the centerpiece of these presentations:
Testimonials From Our Nouakchott Team
